Oveview

vROPS Tenant est un outil intégré au portail vCloud Director, qui permet à chaque administrateur d'une organisation, d'accéder à des métriques bas niveau de son infrastructure. vROPS Tenant is a tool integrated into the vCD portal, giving every administrator in an Organisation access to low-level metrics on their infrastructure.

Portal Access

From vCD Portal, choose More > Operations Manager.
A new portal appears, with its own left-hand menu. To return to the vCD Portal, click on the options in the top menu of the page. By clicking on Overview tab, a summary of the resources deployed in the organisation is displayed.
We can also list the vDCs present in the organisation. There is also a button EXPORT which is often found above a data table, and is used to retrieve the data displayed in an Excel file. Clicking on a vDC listed in the table produces the following page.
This page displays an overview of the vDC (Resources allocated and used, list of vApps).
In the previous list, clicking on a vApp will display a dashboard with vmware metrics. Note that the status displayed at the top is green here, but may be red if VMWare detects problems affecting the proper operation of the VM or vApp (lack of resources, for example, or oversizing of resources in relation to actual usage). The Menu Metering gave access to a list of low-level metrics to troubleshoot a VM that was not working properly.
