Overview
An Organization Administrator can access to
- the Public Catalogs
- Your Private Catalogs
Catalogs can contains :
- vApp Templates
- Support Installation as ISO file
Public Catalogs
Public catalogs provide templates for ready-to-deploy vApps.
These vApps contain a single VM on which an OS or middleware is already installed or pre-configured.
For Externals Customers, here are catalogs available :

Orange-Windows This catalog contains VMs preinstalled with the most common supported Windows distributions, ISOs and Microsoft software packages, such as SQL Server. |

cse-tkgm-template This catalog contains VMs preinstalled with the container management software; they are used to deploy a Kubernetes cluster. |

Private Catalogs
Each customer manage their own Private Catalogs.
The storage of these catalogues consumes the storage of the vDC in the order of the list displayed by vCloud Director.
Upload via the Portal is functional for small VMs (<50GB).
How to create his Catalogs
Select Libraries\Catalogs\NEW
Click on OK |

If you need to Share the Catalog with others Users select the catalog. Click on SHARE buttom and SAVE |
Add an Media File (.ISO)
Select Libraries\Media and Other\ADD |
Add a vApp Template (.OVA)
Select Libraries\vApp Template\NEW |

At the verification step, click on NEXT and indicate :

Verify the informations and clik on FINISH.
Check the Template is Upload in the Catalog. |
Remove a Catalog
If you wish to remove a Catalog, you need first to remove the OVA and ISO files that are in the Catalog.
From Libraries/Catalogs, select the Catalog Click on ALL ACTIONS/Delete Catalog. |
